"Actually iPod Touch to be
exact...for listening to podcasts"

"iPod Nano & Nike+: I was a sprinter in high
school and college, but was never a distance runner
before I started training for my first marathon this
year. For the first couple months of training, I
didn’t track my time or distance too accurately
since I was focused mostly on building endurance.
Now that I’m in my 10th week of training,
I like to know my time, distance, and pace. My new
iPod Nano & Nike+ is incredible both as a training
tool and as a learning tool. It monitors my current
run and helps me improve my time and pace, so I
learn about my performance as I go. And I can even
blog about my running data,
including the embedding of live data"

"I
can create podcasts that people can download and learn from. I also
love that audio books can be played on my iPod"

"I don't like following the crowd. So
I resisted iTunes as long as possible. Until
I got a Mac. Until then I'd been using a podcast
catcher that sat on my mp3 player. But I'm afraid
Apple's design team won again. The whole way the
software integrates with the iTunes webservice is
just great. I'm still not an iPod user, so I had to
get an additional (free) tool - SyncTunes to pull
stuff out of iTunes onto the mp3 player. I rely on podcasts alongside Google Reader to engage with the
learning community. It means driving time is not
wasted."

"iTunes - My music collection and podcasts
live here and on my ipod" Gerry

"I
have a lengthy daily commute and find the time well
spent listening to podcasts and
(mainly) audio
books. My iPod is
starting to rival my
computer as my
primary learning
tool."

"Though I use iTunes to
manage my music, this is only because it works well
with my iPod. And I use an iPod only because my
iRiver was smashed and can't be replaced."

"As much time as I
spend online, listening to my iPod, using Tivo,
or whatever, I do still find the written word --
magazines and newspapers in particular -- to be very
valuable and convenient."
