Tips & Tricks for the iPod Touch & iPhone

Here are some tips and tricks for using the iPod Touch and iPhone.

1. Reading PowerPoint presentations
   You can't read PPT presentations in the iPod Touch of iPhone so here are two ways of doing this.

   1. You can convert the presentations into MPEG-4 video.  There are a couple of products to do this:

   • Wondershare PPT to iPod

   • Acoolsoft PPT to Video

   2. You can save the PowerPoint slides as image files.  Import them into the iPod Touch/iPhone and then create a slideshow

2. Play Flash media
   Although both devices play YouTube videos, if you encounter an embedd YouTube video or other r Flash media, it won't play this, so use the following bookmarklet.  When you encounter any Flash-embedded media , then select the Bookmarket and it will be converted into the video.
