Ilpo's Top 10 Tools as at 23 July 2007

  1. eJournal: see for example, is a good all-around web tool for international project work

  2. iVocalize is a inexpensive audio platform for audioconferencing with application sharing (sharing presentations, whiteboard and web browsing. We use it for the Tuesday Round of teachers of German (DaF) on a regular basis.

  3. Skype because it is a free tool for international phone calls and webconferencing

  4. CoffeeCup - there are a lot of applications of CoffeeCup for the purposes of making and maintaining web pages, and I find them O.K.

  5. Outlook Express -  I am too lazy to change and learn a new email software ;-)

  6. PowerPoint -  I am used to it and find it reliable

  7. Microsoft Producer for PowerPoint 2 - it’s a good tool to make web content combining multimedia with presentations, and it's free for MS Power Point users

  8. HotPotatoes - today I instruct and let my students to make online exercises by using Hot Potatoes of Martin Holmes.

  9. JClic - it’s a free and versatile authoring tool, and I use it to make some web content

  10. Crossword Compiler -  - it's not free, but I gladly pay for it as I like this software of Anthony Lewis, as it's so productive in making crossword puzzles.
