Juan's Top 10 Tools as at
30 March 2008
Wimba Create. A
great tool to
convert word
documents into
content for my
eLearning courses,
in Blackboard,
Moodle and more. I
can´t live without
it ;-)
Del.icio.us:
Social bookmarking
has been a
revolution in my
research and
knowledge management
work. A great place
to have all of my
bookmarks, share
them and connect
with others.
Google reader:
All my rss feeds in
one place. The
iGoogle widget makes
it easier.
Snagit: Really
great to capture
images, edit them,
and use them in my
eLearning content.
Captivate: I Use
this one to create
simulations and
demonstrations, and
decision making
interactions.
Firefox: A very
powerful browser,
where I connect to
the rest of the
world and access all
my online resources
and tools (love the
addons ;-))
Gmail: Powerful
web-based email.
Very useful
productivity tool
too.
MindManager: I
started to use it
not long ago, and
it’s a great mind
mapping tool, that I
am using for
brainstorming and
project management.
iGoogle: My
start point every
morning, and the
place I access some
of my online tools
(Google reader,
gtalk, gmail..)
Comic life:
Creating comic
strips, visual
stories for
eLearning is really
easy with this tool.
