TOP TOOLS
TOP 10 TOOLS 2008
Laurent Janolin

I'm the managing director of Live Session, a training company specializing in synchronous e-learning. We're based in France

Laurent's Top 10 Tools as at 16 January 2008

  1. Adobe Connect - a very efficient virtual room

  2. Zoho Sheet - I use Zoho Sheet (and actually many of the Zoho Services) for sharing spreadsheet in e-learning asynchronous activities

  3. Skype - very efficient for teleconference (however, it requires users to download and install a software)

  4. Snagit -

  5. Camtasia - a wonderful tool to create webcast. Very easy to handle

  6. Microsoft Power Point - no comment.

  7. Netvibes - very powerful rss aggregator. Perfect for following blog activity

  8. Basecamp - efficient for getting people to collaborate online (asynchronous)

  9. Articulate - ok for building rapid learning content

  10. Jajah - very cheap teleconference, does not require to download a software
