Lisa Neal

Lisa is Editor-in-Chief of eLearn Magazine and Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor of Public Health and Family Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine where she teaches a course on Online Health Communities.

Lisa's Top 10 Tools as at 2 February 2008

  1. Wordpress for the ability to easily set up and modify a
website - for my students too!

  2. Gmail because I seem to spend most of my time reading,
responding to, and writing emails and it is the email system I find best designed

  3. Firefox has an interface that works for my multi-tabbed life.

  4. Word is what I use the most for creating documents

  5. Visio is what I rely on for designing page flows

  6. Tabblo allows me to easily put pictures and captions together
    from my travels

  7. Picasa is great for cropping and touch ups of pictures

  8. PowerPoint is what I use for all my presentations

  9. Elluminate is my favorite presentation software for remote
    presentations and teaching

  10. Google Search certainly doesn't read my mind but it generally
helps me find what I want
