Marco Salas

I am
Marco Salas. I am an IT instructor in Maryland, USA. I
have been teaching for 6 years. My interests range from
social networking to web 2.0 to all things Google. I've
found many online tools to be extremely helpful in my
teaching. It's amazing the style of teaching that is
possible and emerging from online tools. Every aspect of
the classroom has become shareable online! Marco's Top 10 Tools

-
Google
Search - you can find anything you want!

HyperOffice - an online collaboration tool that
allows you to share everything including documents,
contacts, and calendars. The shared task management,

particularly helpful for teaching.

- Can put any notes you want out there for people to
read.
-
Word -
the only word processor I use is the classic and the
best.

a way that is easy to reference back to.
-
Adobe Photoshop
- a wonderful image creater and editor. Can do
anything graphic/image related with this program.
-
PowerPoint
- excellent for creating slideshows and
presentations for teaching
-
Camtasia
Studio - a multimedia producer that is
rich in functionality
-
Wordpress

blogs to let colleagues and students know what's
going on.
