Maria's Top 10 Tools as at 21 January 2008

  1. Dokeos. . I believe this is the easiest (although very complete) LMS around.
  2. RSS. This technology is absolutely essential to keep updated about changes and allows to manage information and websites you're interested in.

  3. Interactive whiteboards. Every room should count on one to present, collaborate, edit materials

  4. eXe Learning. A great content editor for scorm packaged elearning courses

  5. Zoho, a useful bunch of tools for collaborative work online.

  6. Video streaming, (teachertube, youtube and all others) embedded, annotated, to illustrate, to create, to teach and learn.

  7. Skype, for its wonderful sound quality, its free collaborative complements and options.

  8. Wink. A wonderful tool to produce visual tutorials for free.

  9. HotPotatoes. Essential to produce Quizzes
  10. Paint.NET great, easy and free editor to work with your images.
