Nigel's Top 10 Tools as at 12 February 2008

  1. Skype:  could not live without it.  I use it several times a day and it allows me to be everywhere at once, I have Skype IN numbers all over the world

  2. Backpack to share resources and lists.  It is web based and allows selected people into edit the pages I create and share other resources.  Its beauty is its simplicity and cheap too.

  3. PackRat to have that stuff off line, so I can take all the Backpack resources and work on them off line

  4. Survey Monkey because there is nothing like it and it is easy to use and very effective

  5. Squarespace for my website.  Allows me to edit everything in a WISIWIG way with minimal html grind and they provide all the stats and back-ups I could possibly need.

  6. Joost because it works brilliantly.  How they compress that data to deliver instant full screen playback still amazes me and some of the stuff is worth watching too

  7. Google Docs is a simple wiki for sharing the development of docs and works really well with Google storing the material on its servers so anyone can access at any time.
