Linux based root server: Most of my
communications and personal
information management is done by this server. Webserver,
Mailserver, Jabberserver, Wiki Engines, Blogging, Subversion
repository... are examples for how important the server is.
From
any part of the world I can log into the machine to use it.
Mutt:
E-Mail still is the most important part of my
communications.
Mutt is a mail client that simply »sucks less
Psi:
Jabber rocks! And Psi is my favorite client for Instant
Messaging over the jabber network
Vim: In my
daily work writing is an important tasks. Writing
E-Mails, writing wiki and blog entries, do some
configuration or
coding. Vim is the one editor I can do with most of my daily
writings.
Drupal:
A wonderful system for building up community-based
platforms. I use it on my own and for our customer projects.
Oddmuse:
Oddmuse is a small but powerful wiki engine I prefer this
engine to all the other wiki systems. And it's Perl!
IRC: I'm a lot on the Internet Relay Chat
not only operating the
Channel #E-Learning on Freenode. Meeting people from the
whole
world is interesting and fun. On IRC we're talking and we're
planning
for example wikiwednesdays, webmontage and barcamps.
OpenOffice: Still using it ;-) The great thing on
OpenOffice is
that the windows version is exactly the same as the Linux
version. It doesn't matter on which system you are.

good choice for setting up corporate wikis.
