  1. Originate (Academy Internet’s development environment) - creates beautiful e-learning content based on easy to use word templates

  2. iGoogle – personalised homepage, meaning that I save time surfing and keep up to date with the cricket scores

  3. Wordpress – the software I use to write my blog...the more I reflect and publish what I discover, the more I know

  4. Ning - good social networking website, useful for virtual teams and asynchronous communication

  5. Excel – well I am a chartered accountant…great for planning, analysis, sorting and anything you might present as a table

  6. Wikipedia – invaluable for looking up history and film stars that I’m supposed to have heard of

  7. Word – the medium that we use to document what a formal learning intervention is trying to achieve

  8. Outlook - how I hear about much that’s of use (once I sift it from all the junk)

  9. Tortoise SVN – version control software which is invaluable when different team members are putting together an e-learning script

  10. Flash - versatile tool for bringing e-learning to life
