Comments from some of those who selected Notability as one of their Top 10 Tools in 2016

“Great note-taking app. Allows to add pages and external content to the original document. So participants ‘own’ and build a rich material which potentially captures the entire learning experience.” Benjamin De Wulf, Consultant, Belgium

“This is an PDF annotation app. I send my documents to Showbie and my students send it from there into Notability. You can just as easily pull a document that you have shared on Google Drive as well. The biggest reason I like this app is that you can add on to the PDF. I create my Science notebooks this way; adding PDFs as we do different labs/activities, and then hand it in at the end of the unit in one PDF back to Showbie to be graded. Notability is not web-based, so students who do not have internet access can take their device home and access their work. I would suggest backing up your work to Google Drive (an option in the settings), so if your device crashes you do not loose your work.” Stephanie Martin, Primary/Secondary (K12) teacher, USA
